Doesnt recognize anything - I just paid 4 euros for nothing - go for Perfect OCR better, and less expensive

It doesnt read text gd and sometimes it doesnt difrenciate between numbers

OCR works if you follow the guidelines in the app description. Set the flash to On, make sure the book or page is flat and be prepared to take a few minutes editing. My first result was poor due to bad lighting so the text was jumbled but when I set the flash to On it was much improved. Its a good basic tool with no frills.

The worst application ever seen.

The app is rudimentary. It has a simple interface which is fine, OCR works but it doesnt keep formatting at all. The is an easy to list of text documents foe processed files which is hood if you do multiple files. However there is no way to export the text or the file. So one has to literally copy text and past to your destination manually. Bad design. Im giving it 2 stars only because it had support for more languages than any other OCR I have seen around. UPDATE: whats wrong with those line breaks of text. It looks too bad like in a badly formatted email.

A trained chimpanzee would recognize more characters than this app does.

Waste of money

Does not work well. No menu ! just take picture and use (!). Wish it could use though... I want my money back !!!!! And how can i save the doc. when finished editing ???!?!?! Im very disappointed...

Recognition is horrible. App is usless for serious using

i bought version 1.3 it need many works to improve 1-it can not scan texts in another colors 2-if you rotate your hand more than 5 digre it can not scan 3- dont support landscape 4- in camera view it need gride to take photo 5-it can not recognize diffrent fonts 6- it can not scan text with photo 7- if text has photo you must ereas photo because it confused 8-its random in the best photo is 60% I dont know how apple accepted this app

Great idea. I really wanted this to work but on my 3GS it simply doesnt work at all. Man I do wish there was a way that the App store had a return policy. This really was a waste of $5.

It is a piece of crap. Tried taking a pic of a receipt. It scrambled it up. Dont buy!

Now, this really accurate OCR App provides the history, Ive been waiting for. Aside you can choose a language for the text to be recognized. Nice job - works really great on my iPhone 4. I discovered, that it is important to let the camera auto orientation identify if you hold the iPhone in landscape or portrait view while photographing s.th. on the desk in top view. Otherwise you cant get good results.

In landscape you get garbage text. You cannot do anything with the final Tex other then edit, you cannot export or import or send or upload anywhere. Your text reside in this application. You can copy. I wish I could get my money back.
