Cannot get the darned thing to produce anything but garbage characters...

It just doesnt work.

iPhone 4, iOS 4.2.

Ive tried everything. Business cards, printed correspondence, newspapers, newsletters, big-type, small-type, courier, times and specially-designed OCR fonts at varying distances with varying lighting in portrait and landscape and the best that I could get from it was a few lines of garbage characters.

Im bitterly disappointed.
